1.1 ¡¡Black Hole Binaries ¡ÁProblems against the standard model¡Á
¡Êdetails¡Ë
Black hole binaries are the system in which a black hole with a star mass and an ordinary star rotate around their center of gravity, forming a bynary system. The gas lost from surface of the star swirls around the black hole and gradually falls into it, emitting strong X-rays. The gas surrounding the black hole is called 'accretion disk'. We have established the existence of black holes by studying X-rays from these objects. Although the bahavior of the accretion disk has been described by a standard model (standard accretion disk).
